Our service procedure
- 1. Initial inspection: Check the AC cooling performance, operating pressure and visible signs of refrigerant leakage.
- 2. Nitrogen pressure testing: Pressurize the refrigerant circuit with dry nitrogen at the manufacturer specified test pressure to check for leaks.
- 3. Leak detection: Inspect accessible joints, flare connections, piping and other relevant components using suitable leak-detection methods.
- 4. Leak repair: If a leak is found, it is repaired only after your approval. Repair charges and materials are extra.
- 5. Evacuation: Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump when the service procedure requires it, so that moisture and non-condensable gases are removed.
- 6. Refrigerant charging: Charge the correct refrigerant type and quantity as per the manufacturer specifications.
- 7. Final performance check: Check cooling performance, operating parameters and overall system operation.
Important terms
- Nitrogen testing and leakage repair charges may be additional unless they are specifically included in the approved quotation.
- Refrigerant is not charged into a system with a known, unresolved leak.
- Nitrogen pressure never exceeds the manufacturer specified test pressure.
- Oxygen or compressed air is never used for pressure testing of the refrigerant circuit.
- Gas refilling, nitrogen testing, leakage repair, vacuuming and refrigerant costs are itemized in the quotation as applicable.

- An AMC does not mean that all repairs are free

Gas Refilling — Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my AC need gas refilled every year?
A properly sealed AC shouldn't need refrigerant topped up at all — gas doesn't get consumed in normal use. Needing a refill every year almost always means there's a small leak somewhere in the system that a one-time top-up won't fix; we check for that first rather than just refilling and sending you off until next year.
How can I tell if it's a gas problem and not something else?
The classic sign is an AC that runs and blows air, but the air isn't properly cold, and cooling gets worse the longer it runs. If the unit isn't switching on at all, or is tripping the electricity, that's a different (electrical) issue, not gas — we check both during diagnosis so you're not paying to top up gas when the actual fault is elsewhere.
Does a gas refill come with any warranty?
Yes — every refill we do carries a 3-month warranty. If the same leak reappears within that period, we come back and address it without a fresh service charge.
Is gas refilling different for split vs window ACs?
The refrigerant top-up process itself is similar, but access points and typical leak locations differ between split and window units — our technicians check both types regularly and know where to look first for each.
What's the visiting/diagnosis charge for a gas check?
₹249 covers the visit, leak check and diagnosis, confirmed upfront. If a refill or leak seal is needed, it is quoted before any work starts. Nitrogen testing and leak repair are charged extra where not included in the approved quotation — no surprise call-out fee.
